As the largest pro bono legal network, Law Connect harnesses the expertise of over 50 plus lawyers across 5 plus countries. We leverage the power of law to protect, strengthen, and empower organizations at the forefront of social and environmental change while safeguarding and supporting independent media. From practical reforestation projects to advocating for media freedom, targeted pro bono assistance plays a critical role in unlocking potential and accelerating meaningful impact around the globe.
Our expanding network empowers us to integrate media and legal strategies to address critical challenges faced by refugees and asylum seekers. From advocating for the rights of the most vulnerable to amplifying their voices through independent media, we strive to create pathways for justice, inclusion, and empowerment.
How it works
Law Connect is a free service open to law firms and corporate legal teams globally. Once you join, you gain access to a curated selection of pro bono opportunities from vetted civil society organizations and social enterprises through our user-friendly online platform. Members can volunteer for projects that align with their interests and expertise, and, once selected, are connected directly with the client. Throughout the project, our international team is available to provide support, ensuring smooth collaboration and meaningful impact.
For non-profit independent newsrooms, Law Connect offers free legal assistance tailored to the unique challenges of independent journalism. Newsrooms can request advice on legal issues that arise in their daily operations, such as content liability or press freedom. Our team helps refine the request and prepares a clear overview of the pro bono matter, sharing it with our legal network and facilitating connections with qualified lawyers.
